Report # 119. For attacking ZNPP Zelensky should be imprisoned

August 9, 2022

1. For attacking ZNPP Zelensky should be sacked and imprisoned as inadequate and mentally ill person

For direct orders to destroy Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) by weapons inadequate Ukrainian president Zelensky should be sacked and sent to prison for indefinite term for endangering security in Europe in the form of nuclear terrorism.

Recently Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) made three attempts to hit and destroy the most important sections of the ZNPP, namely its six nuclear reactors that are still operating or cooling system that could lead to melting these reactors or the storage for containing spent nuclear fuel. The latest three attempts happened on July 20th, and continued on August 5th and 7th, 2022. This NPP is the largest in Europe. It generates 20% of all electricity produced in Ukraine and 50% of all electricity generated by all Ukrainian NPP.

Чего добиваются ВСУ в ЭнергодареOn August 7, Zelensky regime committed a new act of nuclear terrorism at the energy infrastructure of Zaporozhye NPP to create a humanitarian disaster in Kherson and Zaporozhye Regions.

At around 12:40PM on August 7th Ukrainian units of the 44th Artillery Brigade shelled the ZNPP from near Marganets controlled by AFU, on the opposite bank of Kakhovka Water Reservoir. Ukrainian shelling damaged Kakhovskaya high-voltage line, which supply electricity to Zaporozhye and Kherson Regions.

A power surge occurred at Zaporozhye NPP, causing smoke in the plant's open switchgear. The safety system was also activated, cutting off the power supply. Fire crews arrived and the smoke was extinguished.

The capacity of nuclear reactors ## 5 and 6 was reduced to 500 MW each that is  twice as less of the output of their total power by plant technicians to prevent disruption of the activity of this NPP.

Such actions performed by Kiev ultra-nationalist regime show that Zelensky and his team lost any reason and wisdom, and make many millions of Europeans as hostages of their nuclear terrorism and blackmail.

According to Russian estimates, the vast territory in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova and Turkey plus the entire Black Sea will be radioactively contaminated, if Zelensky widely supported by the USA and NATO will explode the ZNPP.

The potential disaster at the ZNPP will be much more dangerous that those that happened in Chernobyl NPP built in Ukraine and Fukushima NPP located in Japan.

It is widely known that before the Special Military Operation that started since February 24, 2022 Zelensky urged to create ‘a dirty nuclear bomb’ to be used against Donbass, but failed. He is a real mad man and should spent many decades behind the bars rather than getting huge economic and military aid from the USA and NATO countries.

Only the USA has delivered long-range weapons and other military equipment to a failed and uncapable Ukrainian regime 18 times since Joseph Biden became the U.S. president. Such aid amounted to $ 9.8 billion from January 2021 till nowadays, and totally 11.8 from 2014 till August 8, 2022.

It is shame that the IAEA and the UNO leaders have done nothing to prevent such dangerous criminal acts committed by the Kiev regime. They even failed to send their respective experts to conduct on-site inspection on the spot – at the ZNPP. They also cover up such barbaric acts committed by Ukraine by empty political statements that are full of “expressions of concern” only, but not having specific decisions and professional actions.

The world community should not sit idle, and watch peacefully such gloomy developments like hitting Ukrainian NPP many times by Ukrainian Armed Forces.

2. Kiev again uses civilians as a human shield

Russian Armed Forces continue to record numerous facts of criminal actions by Kiev regime against civilians, as well as the use of civilian infrastructure for military purposes by Ukrainian armed formations:

a) in Krasnotorka, Donetsk People's Republic, Ukrainian nationalists have deployed artillery and MLRS in private households (Krasnogorsk, Krzhizhanovskogo Street), from which they systematically shell Russian Armed Forces positions provoking them to return fire, with the militants keeping local residents in their homes, effectively using them as human shields;

b) in Nikolaev, territorial defence units are deployed in the buildings of the Black Sea National University (Desantnikov Street) and School No. 16 (Gorky Street), ammunition depots are equipped, armoured vehicles have been placed in the immediate vicinity of the educational institutions and residents from nearby houses have not been deliberately evacuated;

c) in Artemovsk, Donetsk People's Republic, neo-Nazis have equipped artillery and mortar positions in courtyards of residential buildings (Blagoveshchenskaya Street). Under the pretext of alleged security, the militants have forbidden local residents to leave their homes, and all their attempts to evacuate to safe areas on their own are being severely curtailed;

d) in Mirnograd, Donetsk People's Republic, AFU units have equipped a stronghold and ammunition depot in the building of School No. I (Gagarin Street), set up roadblocks around the school and mined the approaches to the institution, but the local population was not deliberately warned about this.

In addition, according to reliable information, militants of Ukrainian armed formations in Vasynovka, Zaporozhye Region, have mined a road bridge over Zherebets River, which they plan to blow up and accuse Russian units of allegedly indiscriminate strikes on important transport infrastructure in a well-established scenario with coverage in the Ukrainian and Western media.

Such actions by criminal Ukrainian authorities demonstrate complete indifference to the fate of their own citizens and absolute disregard for all norms of morality and the principles of international humanitarian law.

Russian MoD once again emphasizes that during the special military operation, the Russian Armed Forces and military formations of Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics are not striking at civilian infrastructure facilities, are treating civilians extremely humanely and are providing civilians with comprehensive assistance and support.

3. Implementation of the Istanbul deal on delivery of food from Ukraine

As part of the implementation of the Understanding on the Safe Transportation of Grain from Ukrainian Ports Initiative, on August 7, 2022, dry cargo ship Reva Wind (Marshall Islands, cargo - maize) left Odessa port, dry cargo vessels Riva Wind (Marshall Islands, cargo - maize) left Odessa port, tanker Mustafa Nekati (Turkey, cargo - sunflower oil), dry cargo ships Star Helen (Marshall Islands, cargo - flour) and Glory (Marshall Islands, cargo - maize) from Chernomorsk port; on August 8, 2022. - dry cargo vessels Arizona (Liberia, cargo - corn) from Chernomorsk port and Sakura (Liberia, cargo - soybean) from Yuzhny seaport. The Russian Federation is strictly adhering to its commitments in order to implement the agreements reached to ensure the export of grain crops and mineral fertilisers from Ukrainian ports.

However, 61 foreign vessels from 14 countries remain blocked in six ports in Ukraine, namely in Kherson, Nikolaev, Chernomorsk, Ochakov, Odessa and Yuzhny. There also remains a danger to navigation and damage to port infrastructure from drifting Ukrainian mines off anchor along the coast of the Black Sea states.

The Russian Armed Forces have created conditions for the operation of two maritime humanitarian corridors, which are safe lanes for ships:

1) in the Black Sea (daily from 08:00 to 19:00 (Moscow time) - to leave Kherson, Nikolaev, Chernomorsk, Ochakov, Odessa and Yuzhnyi ports in a south-westerly direction from Ukraine's territorial sea, 139 miles long and 3 miles wide;

2) in the Sea of Azov, to leave Mariupol port 115 miles long and 2 miles wide towards the Black Sea.

Detailed information in English and Russian on the modus operandi of the maritime humanitarian corridor is broadcast daily every 15 minutes on VHF radio on 14 and 16 international channels in English and Russian.

4. The fate of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine

Russian Defence Ministry continues to monitor activity of foreign mercenaries who have arrived in Ukraine to take part in combat operations illegally.

Over almost four weeks (from July 8 to August 5, 2022) the number of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine decreased from 2,741 to 2,192 as a result of the offensive actions of the Russian Armed Forces and the units of the people's militias of Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.

Meanwhile, 175 more "soldiers of fortune" have arrived in Ukraine in recent weeks, including 81 fighters from Georgia.

At the same time, the number of mercenaries arriving in Ukraine does not outweigh the losses in their ranks. 335 foreign fighters have been reliably confirmed killed during this period, including 36 mercenaries from Canada, 33 from Romania and 21 from the USA have been eliminated.

Another 389 ‘soldiers of fortune’ left Ukrainian territory on their own wishing not to die for unknown goals and motivation.

Poland still leads in the rate of reduction of mercenaries in Ukraine. 99 have been eliminated and 146 fighters have fled for various reasons.

5. Situation on the battlefields

The Ukrainian side continues to terrorize the civilian population of the Donetsk People’s Republic, carrying out massive artillery strikes on residential areas and civilian infrastructure facilities.

Over the past 24 hours, according to the JCCC of the DPR, the enemy fired 420 shells from HIMARS, Uragan and Grad multiple rocket launchers, 155mm, 152mm and 122mm barrel artillery, as well as 120mm mortars.

The shelling took place in the districts of ten populated areas of the Republic. As a result of the shelling, four civilians were killed and seventeen wounded. Forty-five residential houses and three civilian infrastructure objects were damaged. Additional information on civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure is being clarified.

The following enemy weapons and military equipment were destroyed by joint actions of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Russian Federation Armed Forces: one D-30 122-mm howitzer, one Furya UAV and two APCs. Two enemy firing positioins were suppressed in the areas of Avdiivka and Novomikhailovka.

Kiev continues to disperse APM PFM-1 in densely populated areas in Donbass. So far 33 persons have been injured by such mines prohibited by the Ottawa Convention, signed and ratified by Ukraine.

On the other hand, Russian high-precision long-range air-based missiles have destroyed an active deeply buried command post of AFU Air Force near Voronivtsa, Vinnitsy Region.

High-precision, long-range sea-based weapons have hit a large ammunition depot near Uman, Cherkasskaya Region. More than 300 rockets for HIMARS MLRS have been destroyed, as well as large amount of ammunition for US M777 howitzers.

As a result of active offensive actions by Russian troops, the 2nd Mechanised Battalion of the 14th Mechanised Brigade lost its combat effectiveness. Having lost more than 340 men killed and wounded, the remaining personnel abandoned their positions.

Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery strikes continue against military facilities in Ukraine.

2 command posts near Seversk and Ochertino, Donetsk People's Republic, 3 ammunition depots near Krasnogorovka, Donetsk People's Republic, Zhovtnevoye, Nikolayev Region and Osokorovka, Kherson Region, as well as 123 areas of AFU personnel and military equipment concentration have been hit.

In the course of counter-battery warfare, 2 artillery batteries, including American M777-A2 howitzers, have been hit near Veseloye, Donetsk People's Republic.

In addition, 2 platoons of multiple-launch rocket systems near Lastochkino and 6 artillery platoons of self-propelled and towed howitzers near near Razdolovka, Orlovka and Georgiyevka in Donetsk People's Republic have been suppressed.

Russian air defence means have shot down one MiG-29 aircraft of Ukrainian Air Force near Toretskoye in Donetsk People's Republic.

17 rockets from HIMARS MLRS have been intercepted near Kherson city and Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson Region, and Melitopol, Zaporozhye Region.

3 Ukrainian drones have been shot down near Petrovskoye, the Rutchenkovo railway station in Donetsk People's Republic, as well as Mospanovo in Kharkov Region.

In total, 264 Ukrainian airplanes and 145 helicopters, 1,711 unmanned aerial vehicles, 363 anti-aircraft missile systems, 4,278 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 794 multiple launch rocket systems, 3,284 field artillery and mortars, as well as 4,785 special military vehicles were destroyed during the SMO.
